Residents return home after evacuation in Clydebank tower block incident
Residents of Overtoun Court in Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire, have returned home after being evacuated due to a "suspect item" found during a police investigation into a man's death. The evacuation occurred on Monday night, with residents temporarily housed in a community center and hotels. Emergency services responded to the situation on Monday afternoon, leading to the closure of nearby Dalmuir train station. The station has since reopened, but some train services may still face delays or cancellations. Police Scotland stated there is no indication that the suspect item is connected to the man's death. Forensic officers have been investigating the area since the unexplained death of a 58-year-old man on October 17.
