Reform UK aides quit after undercover donation probe

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has dismissed secretly-recorded comments by two senior aides about circumventing donation laws as "loose pub talk," following their resignations and an internal investigation. The aides, head of policy James Orr and close aide Dan Jukes, stepped down after a Channel 4 News undercover investigation suggested ways to channel foreign funds, including a £500,000 donation, into the party. Farage insists no illegal money was taken and the claims are untrue. Jukes denies wrongdoing, citing entrapment by activists, while Labour and the Liberal Democrats have referred the matter to the Metropolitan Police. The Electoral Commission is also considering the information.
