Reform UK advisers quit after undercover donation sting

Two senior Reform UK officials, James Orr and Dan Jukes, have resigned amid allegations they breached political donation rules by accepting £32,500 from a purported US firm, which was actually undercover reporters. The party has launched an investigation, and rival parties have reported Reform to police. Channel 4 News reported the funding was for three polls, with the donors posing as an American financier and his son. Reform denies wrongdoing, claiming it was a hoax. Party chair Lee Anderson said there is "no chance" the officials will return, though deputy leader Richard Tice deferred to the investigation's outcome. The scandal overshadows Nigel Farage's conference speech in Birmingham, where he will pledge to make Parliament "sit day and night" if Reform wins the next election. Education secretary Lucy Powell called the officials' positions "untenable," citing a "pattern of behaviour" in the party.
