Reform officials quit over donation rule probe

Reform UK officials James Orr and Dan Jukes have stepped down amid an investigation into allegations they breached political donation rules by having polling paid for by an overseas company, the party confirmed. A Channel 4 News report alleged Reform took funding from a US firm for three polls commissioned earlier this year, costing £32,500. The purported donors were undercover reporters from investigative group Verbatim, posing as an American financier and his UK-based son. Jukes, a senior aide to party leader Nigel Farage, and Orr, head of policy, were implicated in the allegations. A party spokesperson said the investigation must proceed independently and without prejudice, with no further comment while it is ongoing.
