Reeves-Reed Arboretum hosts diverse events next week
The Reeves-Reed Arboretum in Summit is hosting a week full of events for everyone. From Wednesday to Sunday, visitors can enjoy tea experiences, gardening classes, and an artist showcase. On Wednesday, the Cream Tea Extravaganza will take place. Guests can enjoy fine teas, scones, clotted cream, and sandwiches. There are three seatings at 11:30 a.m., noon, and 1 p.m. The cost is $40 for members and $50 for non-members. On Sunday, an Afternoon Tea is scheduled with four seatings, including a special 2:30 p.m. option for guests aged 7 and older. The menu features a dessert tray, fine teas, and a complimentary drink. Prices are $55 for members and $65 for non-members. A gardening class called Square Foot Gardening 101 will also be offered on Wednesday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The class will teach participants how to grow vegetables and herbs in small spaces. Registration is $10 for members and $25 for non-members. The week will conclude with the Gardens on the Hill & Zone IV GCA Artist Showcase on Sunday.
