Record attendance at Maple Sugaring Days event

The Maple Sugaring Days event took place over the weekend at LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve in St. Charles, attracting families to enjoy activities like tapping maple trees and sampling local syrup. This year marked the 30th anniversary of the event, featuring new additions such as a craft beer tent in partnership with a local brewery. The beer, made with local maple syrup, was well-received by attendees. The event saw a record attendance, with over 940 visitors on Saturday. Families participated in hands-on activities, enhancing their appreciation for maple syrup production.
