Rangers and Customs seize smuggled goods in Karachi operation
KARACHI: A joint operation by Rangers, Customs, and an intelligence agency in Bolton Market led to the seizure of a large quantity of smuggled goods. Officials broke into several shops and warehouses, loading the items onto ten vehicles for Customs processing. The operation followed credible intelligence and resulted in the arrest of two suspects linked to robbery and street crime. This raid is part of ongoing efforts to combat smuggling, which included recent operations across various regions, seizing goods worth millions. The confiscated items included textiles, cigarettes, diesel, electronics, and food products, smuggled from Balochistan to Karachi. The total value of the recovered goods is estimated in the millions of rupees.
