Range Rover reveals first luxury electric SUV during testing in UAE

Range Rover is set to launch its first luxury electric SUV, which is currently undergoing extensive testing in the United Arab Emirates. The vehicle is reportedly outperforming traditional gas-powered models in extreme conditions, including high temperatures and sandy terrain. The new electric SUV features advanced traction control and thermal management systems, allowing it to match or exceed the performance of its internal combustion engine counterparts. It has successfully tackled challenging environments, including a notable dune in the Al Badayer desert. The Range Rover Electric is expected to debut in 2025, with a waitlist already in place. Following this flagship model, Range Rover plans to introduce a smaller Sport model and a compact Velar EV.
