Ralph Douglas Ross, Jr., known as Doug, passed away on November 24, 2024, in Washington, DC, after a three-week battle with kidney failure due to Multiple Myeloma. He was 87 years old. Born on May 9, 1937, in Canandaigua, NY, Doug lived in Washington, DC, for the last two years with his wife, Lynne. He had a long career as an English and theater teacher, directing numerous plays and impacting many students. Doug is survived by Lynne, their three children, seven grandchildren, and his brother Harold. He was known for his love of literature, theater, and family, as well as his community involvement in Wethersfield, CT.
