Raise Her Voice: Greek campaign highlights hidden signs of gender-based violence

On July 1, the Greek organization "I Read for Others" launched "Raise Her Voice," an accessible campaign to spotlight early signs of gender-based violence, especially affecting women with disabilities. The campaign features ten audio narratives based on real anonymous stories and ten posters exposing control, devaluation, isolation, financial dependence, and psychological abuse often disguised as love. UN Women says women with disabilities face two to three times higher violence risk. Created with input from women with and without disabilities and young men, it is part of the EU-funded POWER project. Founder Argyro Spyridaki said access to information is a matter of safety and rights.
