Railway division enhances travel arrangements for millions at Prayagraj festival

Millions of devotees visited Prayagraj for the Mauni Amavasya festival, leading the Prayagraj Railway Division to enhance travel arrangements. Over 360 trains, including 222 special Mela trains, were operated to accommodate the influx. To manage the crowd, ticket distribution and designated holding areas were organized. Civil police assisted in guiding devotees from Khusro Bagh to the station for smooth boarding. Despite these efforts, some passengers faced delays and expressed frustration over late trains and lack of timely notifications. Restrictions on station entry also upset many, particularly women and the elderly.
