Questerre signs mediation protocol with Quebec in court dispute

Questerre Energy Corporation has signed a mediation protocol with Quebec's Attorney General and Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Energy to resolve ongoing court proceedings, with sessions to be held in Quebec City. The mediation involves Utica Resources Inc. and related entities as separate plaintiffs in the test cases, covering three Quebec Superior Court files. The parties will jointly request a minimum 120-day deferral of court timetable steps, with the mediator selected by mutual agreement. The voluntary and confidential process is non-binding, meaning no party is obligated to reach an agreement. Questerre stated it will not comment further on the proceedings while mediation continues, except as required by securities law.
