Qatar Airways passenger dies from pulmonary thromboembolism during flight to Dallas

A 63-year-old woman, Mahasen Mohamed, died from pulmonary thromboembolism during a Qatar Airways flight from Doha to Dallas on October 31. She collapsed mid-flight, and despite CPR efforts, was pronounced dead upon arrival. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner confirmed her death was natural, linked to her known history of blood clots. Mohamed had been seated for about 10 hours before her medical emergency occurred. The flight, QR731, landed on schedule at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. Qatar Airways has not yet commented on the incident.
