Qantas launches Project Sunrise for non-stop flights from Sydney to London and New York in 2026

Qantas has announced Project Sunrise, which will offer non-stop flights from Sydney to London and New York starting in 2026. This new service will allow passengers to experience two sunrises during the 19-22 hour journey and reduce travel time by up to four hours. The airline will use 12 modified Airbus A350-1000 aircraft, each seating 238 passengers. The planes will feature six first-class suites, 52 business-class suites, and a Wellbeing Zone for passenger comfort. Project Sunrise was first introduced in 2017 but faced delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Qantas aims to provide a unique flying experience influenced by medical research, enhancing convenience for travelers.
