In response, the director of health issued show-cause notices to the civil surgeon and senior medical officer, requiring their explanations by the end of the day. Dr. Singh emphasized the need for timely patient care, mandating that registration counters open by 8:30 AM and OPD services start at 9 AM. He stated that such negligence would not be tolerated.
