Pune lifts Katraj Chowk vehicle restrictions, easing commutes

Restrictions on vehicular movement at Katraj Chowk in Pune are being lifted, promising reduced travel times for commuters. The easing of restrictions allows MSRTC and PMPML buses, along with cars, to travel through the junction towards the ghat section, ending months of delays caused by flyover construction. This change comes as major flyover work nears completion. Commuters hope the remaining flyover work and road widening will be finished soon. The flyover is expected to be completed by December 2025, while road widening faces delays due to land acquisition.
