An 18-year-old pregnant woman died when her home was buried by a landslide in Mankayan, Benguet. The victim, Ivy Khate Ogues Dizon, was eight months pregnant. A collapsed riprap wall due to heavy rain caused the landslide that engulfed her room. Rescuers retrieved Dizon and took her to Lutheran Hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
