Porto expands supervised drug consumption room in Aleixo

Porto's supervised drug consumption room will relocate to Aleixo, doubling its space. The new facility, costing 600,000 euros, will be over 200 square meters, offering improved conditions and increased capacity. The move aims to address public health and safety concerns at the current Pasteleira location. The city is also considering a second consumption room in the eastern part of Porto and emphasizes the need for a comprehensive approach including law enforcement efforts.
