Polish police detain Ukrainian suspect in Romania arms factory arson
Polish police detained Artem S., a 25-year-old Ukrainian citizen, in Warsaw on suspicion of involvement in an arson attack on a weapons factory in Romania. He faces extradition to Bucharest under a European arrest warrant. The suspect was arrested in the Ursus district without resistance. According to RMF 24, his role involved reconnaissance, identifying the target and financing the operation. Romanian intelligence says he worked with two Belarusians previously arrested in Germany. The group allegedly planned attacks on Ukrainian military training centers and arms manufacturers. Ukraine's military intelligence recently warned that Russia is preparing provocations across Europe, including attacks on Starlink antennas in Poland and Bulgaria, to blame Ukraine for destabilization.
