Police Tally Gifts Cashed by Employees Who Drained TikTok Creator Vilmei's Account

Police are investigating the theft of 1.28 billion rupiah from TikTok creator Vilmei's affiliate account, allegedly stolen by employees through fraudulent gift purchases. Three suspects have been arrested. The suspects, including an employee with authorized access to Vilmei's logged-in TikTok account, allegedly used the account's balance to buy TikTok coins and send gifts to their own accounts. The gifts were then cashed out via bank accounts and digital wallets. Police stated the 1.28 billion rupiah figure represents the total balance used to purchase coins based on internal audits, not the net amount received by suspects. The three detained individuals reportedly spent the stolen money on daily needs and shopping.
