Police stop driver using shoelaces to operate broken wipers in Staffordshire

Staffordshire Police stopped a driver using shoelaces to operate broken windscreen wipers on a Nissan Micra. The incident occurred at an Esso garage in Cheslyn Hay on November 23. Officers seized the vehicle and issued a summons to a 31-year-old man from Burton-upon-Trent. He faces charges for driving without a licence, without insurance, and for using a dangerous vehicle.
