Police seize 500 kg of gutkha in Ambur and arrest three suspects

Police in Ambur seized 500 kg of gutka and arrested three men during a vehicle inspection on Saturday. The suspects, aged 22 to 24, are from Vaniyambadi. The police acted on a tip-off and pursued two vehicles that attempted to flee. The gutka was reportedly smuggled from Karnataka to Tamil Nadu. The arrested individuals are now in a sub-jail in Tirupattur. Authorities have also confiscated the vehicles involved and are continuing their investigation.
