Police seek suspect in attempted lottery ticket robbery in Ottawa's Lowertown
Ottawa police are seeking public assistance to identify a suspect in an attempted robbery of lottery tickets in Lowertown. The incident occurred on October 22 when the suspect asked a clerk for tickets and then tried to steal them. When the clerk resisted, the suspect allegedly struck the clerk and fled the scene. The suspect is described as a white male, aged 20 to 25, approximately five-foot-eight, wearing a black tuque, green sweater, and light blue jeans. Anyone with information about the suspect is encouraged to contact the Ottawa Police Service or submit an anonymous tip to Crimestoppers.
