Police searched the abandoned village of Kursdorf near Leipzig/Halle Airport following a drone incident. The search follows reports of a loud explosion in Kursdorf at 7:19 PM last Tuesday, about ten minutes before an explosive-laden drone struck a Ukrainian cargo plane's wing. The device bounced off without detonating and was discovered four hours later. Kursdorf is uninhabited but houses small businesses. The drone contained Semtex explosive found separately from the aircraft. Investigators continue examining evidence, including video footage showing the impact and a bus driver who stepped on the drone before alerting security.
