Police rescue man from submerged vehicle in Michigan pond on New Year's Eve

On New Year's Eve, police in Clinton Township, Michigan, rescued a man whose vehicle had submerged in a pond. Bodycam footage shows officers working together to save him as the car sank. One officer entered the water with a flotation device while others shouted instructions to the man. Sgt. Ryan Bates swam to the vehicle and pulled the man out through the driver’s side window. The cause of the incident is still under investigation. The police department highlighted the teamwork of the officers in the successful rescue.
