Police identify four suspects in Post Office Horizon scandal investigation

The Metropolitan Police have identified four suspects in the investigation of the Post Office Horizon scandal. This case involves the wrongful prosecution of over 900 subpostmasters due to faulty accounting software between 1999 and 2015. The police met with campaigner Sir Alan Bates to provide an update on the inquiry. They are investigating allegations of fraud, perjury, and perverting justice related to the prosecutions. Two individuals have been interviewed under caution, but no arrests have been made since the investigation began in January 2020. The police expect to identify more suspects as the investigation continues.
