Police identify driver in fatal Perth crash as investigation into murder-suicide theory unfolds

Police have identified Rabin Rawal, 43, as the driver who crashed into a mother, her daughter, and their taxi driver in Perth. The incident occurred when Rawal drove on the wrong side of the road. Authorities are investigating the possibility of a murder-suicide. The victims, aged 56 and 81, were returning from a holiday, and the taxi driver was 58 years old. Police Commissioner Col Blanch stated that the investigation is ongoing, and it is too early to determine the nature of the incident. Rawal was not known to police prior to the crash.
