Police fatally shoot armed man in Lorient

Police in Lorient fatally shot an armed, hooded man who threatened them with a knife. The individual, identified as Mohammed H., had a history of aggravated violence and rebellion and was awaiting a psychiatric evaluation. He was a Sudanese national with a temporary residency permit. Two investigations are underway, one by local police and another by the IGPN, to determine the exact circumstances of the shooting.
