Police chase leads to crash at Mississauga-Oakville border

Ontario's police watchdog is asking for witnesses after a police chase ended in a crash between a stolen Kia Sedona and a diesel truck at the Mississauga-Oakville border. The incident began when Halton police responded to a vehicle theft report early Wednesday. The stolen car was later involved in a collision with a GMC Hummer, which was also being pursued by police. The 26-year-old driver of the Hummer was hospitalized with serious injuries and faces multiple charges, including vehicle theft and dangerous driving. The stolen Kia remains missing.
