Police arrest wanted man after pursuit on Highway 101 in Marin County

Casey Joseph Beck, 36, was arrested after a police pursuit on Highway 101. He is suspected of assault with a deadly weapon and evading police. His arrest followed a failed attempt to escape from Rohnert Park police. The incident began when a police license plate reader identified Beck's vehicle linked to a felony. After he allegedly tried to ram a police car, officers halted the chase for safety reasons. Beck was later intercepted by a San Rafael officer, who pinned his vehicle against a wall. Beck suffered a minor leg injury, while another driver involved was unharmed. He is being held on $50,000 bail.
