Police arrest man for attempting to steal three cars at Atlanta airport

Atlanta police have arrested 28-year-old Jaquavious Crenshaw for attempting to steal three cars at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. He successfully stole two vehicles, a Kia Sorento and Forte, before being stopped while trying to take an Audi A6. Crenshaw has a history of grand theft auto, with previous arrests at the same rental car center. This year, car thefts at the airport have surged by 315%, with over 300 vehicles reported stolen. In response, airport officials are enhancing security measures, including adding anti-tailgating equipment and increasing surveillance. They are also reducing free parking time to 15 minutes to deter thieves.
