Police arrest Fairview Park man after high-speed chase on I-71 in Brook Park

A 47-year-old man from Fairview Park was arrested after leading Strongsville police on a high-speed chase. The incident occurred on November 17 on Interstate 71 in Brook Park. Brook Park police were alerted about the chase and deployed tire-deflating devices. The suspect's vehicle, a Chevrolet Trax, lost all four tires but continued driving for half a mile before stopping. After stopping, the man and a passenger fled on foot but were quickly apprehended by police. The driver of a Honda CR-V, who was also involved, was unharmed.
