Plex unveils new user interface with mobile preview and upcoming TV rollout

A full rollout is expected on connected TVs in early 2025. The revamped interface centralizes media libraries into a dedicated tab, allowing users to easily access their personal collections alongside on-demand content and live TV. This change enhances the user experience by prioritizing core features. Plex serves over 25 million users, offering more than 50,000 on-demand titles and 600 live TV channels. The update reflects a two-year effort to create a seamless platform for both personal and streaming media.
