Players tackle corruption in Dragon Age: The Veilguard side quest

In "Dragon Age: The Veilguard," players must complete the lengthy side quest "The Heart of Corruption" to clear the Blight from Beacon Island. This involves defeating three high-level Champion bosses and a Revenant Dragon in the Crossroads. To progress, players unlock three gates by defeating specific bosses: Desmal in Treviso, Disciple-in-Ichor, and Amarell the Unwoven in the Hossberg Wetlands. After collecting their essences, players can confront the Revenant Dragon, the final and most challenging boss. Completing the quest rewards players with 1,000 XP, unique items, and a powerful Rune for the final boss.
