A new hop boost mechanic was also revealed, allowing players to charge their hop for a small boost. Mario Kart World, launching June 5th alongside the Switch 2, promises a vast interconnected environment and new modes like Knockout Tour. The game will feature 24 drivers per race and allow for free-roam exploration.
