To increase the chances of finding this mutation, players need the Quantum exalted enchantment, which gives a 25% probability of encountering Subspace fish. To obtain the Quantum enchantment, players must first find a rare Exalted relic, which has a 1 in 2000 chance of being found. After acquiring a relic, players can enchant their rod at the Statue of Sovereignty for 400C$, but this can only be done at night. The Subspace mutation, introduced in version 1.13 in January 2025, is identifiable by its faded bright red color and pink sparkles.
