PIA to double London flights from October 27

Pakistan International Airlines will increase its weekly flights to London from four to seven starting October 27, citing rising passenger demand and confidence. Five flights will depart from Islamabad and two from Lahore under the new schedule, according to an airline statement. The expansion follows the UK removing Pakistan from its Air Safety List in July 2025. PIA had been barred from UK and EU flights since June 2020 after a Karachi crash and safety concerns. The EU lifted its ban in November 2024, and PIA resumed UK operations in September 2025, with London flights returning in March.
