Philippine teams prepare for Asian Senior Beach Volleyball Championships in Santa Rosa

The Asian Senior Beach Volleyball Championships begin Wednesday in Santa Rosa, Philippines, featuring top teams from Asia and Oceania. The event is organized by the Philippine National Volleyball Federation and will take place at the Nuvali Sand Courts. Philippine duo Ran Abdilla and James Buytrago, bronze medalists at the Southeast Asian Games, aim for victory against strong competitors. Other notable teams include Iran's Abbas Pourasgari and Alireza Aghajanighasab, and several Australian and New Zealand pairs. Twenty pairs are seeded in the main draw, with four spots available through a qualifying event.
