A study of over 11,000 births in New Hampshire found pregnant women drinking water contaminated with "forever chemicals" had significantly higher rates of complications, including premature births and infant deaths. PFAS are persistent environmental pollutants. The study suggests that addressing water contamination could prevent billions in healthcare costs associated with these birth complications.
