Peter Mungoma Named Deputy Group CEO and Chief of Radio at Next Media

Next Media Group has appointed Peter Jackson Mungoma as Deputy Group CEO and Chief of Radio, the company announced. Mungoma previously served as CEO of Capital Radio Group since 2014. Mungoma brings over two decades of executive experience in media, broadcasting, and telecommunications. During his tenure at Capital Radio, he strengthened market leadership, grew audiences across digital platforms, and delivered sustained revenue growth. Next Media CEO Kin Kariisa welcomed his commercial discipline and governance record. Mungoma holds an MBA from Makerere University and executive education from Harvard Business School. His career includes roles in renewable energy in Tanzania and pay television with MultiChoice, with experience across East Africa in market entry and business turnarounds.
