Perth plans largest New Year’s Eve fireworks display with over 100,000 expected attendees
Perth is set to host its largest New Year’s Eve fireworks display, with over 100,000 attendees expected. The City of Perth and Roy Hill are investing $500,000 for shows at Elizabeth Quay and Northbridge, including midnight fireworks on the Swan River. The celebrations will feature a 12-minute family show at 8:30 PM and a 15-minute display at midnight. Additional viewing areas have been added, and there will be food trucks and extended hospitality options available. Other Western Australian cities, including Mandurah and Fremantle, will also hold New Year’s Eve events, featuring fireworks and various festivities. Albany will offer fireworks and live music as part of its celebrations.
