Pentagon ends academic partnerships with Harvard University over ideological concerns

The Pentagon is ending academic partnerships with Harvard University due to its identity politics. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth stated the department is cutting all professional military education programs, scholarships, and certificates. This decision, effective for the 2026-2027 academic year, stems from concerns that Harvard's "woke" ideologies negatively influence military officers. Students currently enrolled can complete their programs. Similar programs at other Ivy League universities will also be reviewed for institutional bias. This action follows previous tensions between Harvard and the Trump administration over alleged antisemitism and "woke" policies.
