pCloud cuts 2 TB lifetime cloud storage to $499 one-time fee

pCloud is offering a 2 TB lifetime cloud storage plan for a one-time payment of $499, reduced from $709, with no renewal fees or future price increases. The lifetime cost equals about five years of pCloud's $99.99 annual plan, making it economical for long-term users, though shorter-term subscribers may prefer yearly payments. The Swiss company, operating since 2013, includes features like phone backup, folder sync, and file sharing. Lifetime plans lack built-in encryption, which costs an extra $150, and can be upgraded later by adding more storage. New customers receive a full refund if they cancel within 14 days.
