Pawan Kalyan promises swift resolution of land disputes for Greenko renewable energy project in Kurnool

Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan announced that land disputes related to the Integrated Renewable Energy Project in Kurnool district will be resolved soon. He conducted an aerial survey and met with local officials and Greenko Energy representatives. The project, which began in 2021, spans 2,800 acres, with Greenko having acquired 1,700 acres. However, 45 hectares remain disputed between the Revenue and Forest departments, a conflict dating back to 1962. Pawan Kalyan highlighted Greenko's significant investment in renewable energy and mentioned plans to address land encroachments in nearby districts. The project aims to generate power for 43 lakh households in the state.
