Pavlyuchenkova dominates Kenin at Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open

Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, the No. 6 seed, defeated Sofia Kenin 6-3, 6-1 in just 59 minutes at the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open. Pavlyuchenkova won 80% of her service points and broke Kenin's serve four times. In other matches, Ons Jabeur upset No. 7 seed Jelena Ostapenko, winning 7-6 (4), 7-5. Eighth seed Leylah Fernandez also advanced after defeating Moyuka Uchijima 7-6 (3), 7-6 (0). At the Transylvania Open, top seeds Anastasia Potapova and Olga Danilovic both won in straight sets. Potapova beat Julia Grabher 6-4, 6-0, while Danilovic defeated Alycia Parks 6-3, 6-3.
