Patriots and Bills announce inactive players for Week 4 matchup
The New England Patriots will be without their top defensive back, Christian Gonzalez, for Sunday's Week 4 game against the Buffalo Bills due to a shoulder injury that kept him out of practice all week. Gonzalez, a 24-year-old cornerback, has recorded eight tackles and five passes defended this season. Defensive tackle Christian Barmore, who had a key strip sack in Week 2, is also inactive with a shoulder injury. The Bills will be missing six players, including wide receiver Skyler Bell and safety Jalon Kilgore. The AFC East matchup is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York. The Patriots enter the game with a 1-2 record after losses to Seattle and Jacksonville, while the Bills are looking to improve on their early-season performance.
