Parkview Baptist's Jacob Hess defies stereotypes as strong safety and embraces challenges

Jacob Hess, a 5-foot-8, 150-pound strong safety for Parkview Baptist, is a three-year starter despite not fitting the typical mold for his position. He has made significant contributions to his team, including 63 tackles and two interceptions. Hess's football journey began later than most due to his family's history with traumatic brain injury. Encouraged by a coach, he joined the team in middle school and has since embraced the sport, viewing challenges as opportunities for growth.
