Panjab University honors outgoing Vice-Chancellor Renu Vig at farewell

Panjab University held a farewell for outgoing Vice-Chancellor Prof Renu Vig on Tuesday, with faculty and staff acknowledging her contributions. The event took place at the Golden Jubilee Hall and was hosted by acting VC Prof Meenakshi Goyal. Speakers highlighted key achievements during Prof Vig's tenure, including implementing the National Education Policy, securing NAAC A++ accreditation, expanding research and startups, and completing the PU Convention Centre. A video and presentation showcased her milestones, and she received a photo album, portrait, and memento. Prof Vig stated Panjab University will always remain close to her heart and announced she will continue teaching undergraduate students at UIET voluntarily. She thanked faculty, staff, and students for their support during her tenure.
