Panelo criticizes QuadComm findings on Duterte's drug war as politically motivated

Panelo described the QuadComm hearings as politically motivated, aimed at damaging Duterte and Vice President Sara Duterte's reputations. He suggested the findings are intended to hinder Sara Duterte's potential candidacy in the 2028 presidential election. The QuadComm's vice chair, Romeo Acop, stated that Duterte is implicated in a criminal syndicate related to the drug trade, citing testimonies from the committee's hearings.
