Panchkula police increase vigilance, prevent crime

Panchkula's Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Himadri Kaushik has ordered increased police vigilance and crime prevention measures across the district. The DCP directed officers to prioritize pending case investigations, combat vehicle theft and snatching, and monitor suspicious activity. She also mandated increased surveillance at key locations and warned of strict action against those spreading misinformation online. These directives also include crackdowns on illegal mining and alcohol trade, along with the implementation of emergency response drills. The DCP emphasized collaboration with social organizations and the use of specialized units to maintain law and order.
